Lidgetton is a tiny tranquil town in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands about 15 minutes from Howick - boasts a community of creative people and artists The town has a quaint Café, post office with a number of Bed and Breakfasts, and Guest Houses - a popular place to stay. It is home to the Nelson Mandela Capture site and memorial to Former President  Mandela.
