The hamlet of Rosetta in the beautiful Midlands lies between Mooi River and Nottingham Road, on the Midlands Meander craft and eatery route.
The country village wanders along the Mooi River with dairy farming, tourism outlets like The Wine Cellar, The Grindstone, Rosetta Hotel & the Ugly Duckling being popular places for visitors. Fly fishing is popular and the nearby Kamberg Road provides access to Highmoor Nature Reserve, the Kamberg Nature Reserve and Rock Art Centre, and also the popular Giants Castle Nature Reserve.
Tranquil Kamberg lies in the foothills of the Drakensberg mountains along the Mooi River with trout dams, lovely scenic walks, and self-guided trails it is also home to bushman rock art at Game Pass shelter. Trout fishing can be enjoyed all year round in the river, dams and close by in the trophy trout fishing dams of Highmoor.
